Scarecrow Competition 2017

Once again, Sue Brooke (from The Garden Gate) and others including Marie from Whitechapel Gifts, with the support of TWO Promotions, organised a scarecrow competition which was held during the last week of April 2017 to raise funds for the Child Cancer Foundation.

Unfortunately the weather was not as good as in the previous year, so there was a smaller number of scarecrows and not as many people present for the prize-giving as there had been in the previous year.
However a total of $1,375 was raised. Not bad at all!
